Chamomile has been used as a natural remedy for centuries. Monks cultivated it for therapeutic benefits; the ancient Egyptians used it as an embalming agent, it was even considered a sacred flower to those that worshiped the Germanic and Norse god, Odin.

Today, it is commonly used in teas to soothe the mind and skin tones; it can also be used as an anti-inflammatory agent that calms irritation and redness. When mixed with honey and strawberries it will help to sooth irritated skin.
