This super simple three-ingredient mask/exfoliant is easy to make and will leave you with a natural glow. It is a great homemade face mask for acne scars and all skin types.

Chamomile has been used as a natural remedy for centuries. Monks cultivated it for therapeutic benefits; the ancient Egyptians used it as an embalming agent, it was even considered a sacred flower to those that worshiped the Germanic and Norse god, Odin.

Today, it is commonly used in teas to soothe the mind and skin tones; it can also be used as an anti-inflammatory agent that calms irritation and redness. When mixed with honey and strawberries it will help to sooth irritated skin.

   

The healing powers of honey, exfoliating factors in strawberries, and restorative nature of German chamomile is meant to scuff off layers of dead skin cells and invigorate growth in new cell tissue.  

What you’ll need

  • Blender
  • Tablespoon
  • ½ tablespoon 
  • Glass bowl (small)

Directions

    1. Blend the six strawberries and honey on high for one minute or until well blended
    2. Transfer the mixture to a glass bowl. Add the German chamomile essential oil to the mixture and stir until well combined.
    3. Apply gently in a circular motion to enhance circulation. Enjoy!
